Scouser in the Room

by Joe Walmsley

The term 'SCOUSER' is a term used to describe someone from Liverpool England, Scouse being a type of food which is derived from the word Lobscouse which is basically lamb stew which was popular among sailors at the seaports of Liverpool. This song was born from a Liverpool musician performing in an Irish Bar called Waxy O Connors on the San Antonio Riverwalk. A friend of the artist (Joe Walmsley )wrote some lyrics and came up with the title 'SCOUSER IN THE ROOM' It's a fun song describing the performer and the fun being had in the bar and has become an anthem down at Waxy O Connors in San Antonio.
