Joel Crafton known as world famous Black Pinoy, Philippines rooted but spent most of his life in USA New York. Joel Crafton’s musical ability was recognized at the age of fourteen years old, discovered in church. Joel became one of the youngest musical
choir directors with a huge responsibility. He was recognized as a music prodigy with extreme musical abilities, Joel Crafton be came 
an accomplished piano player,
recording artist, producer, and a songwriter.
1980 – United Artists released a song titled “IT WAS THE RIGHT TIME” performed by the artist Joel Crafton. The song did modestly well, but in time United Artist became a struggling label.
 Joel Crafton took on the executive role as president of EMPIRE MUSIC ORGANIZATION that handled a multitude of promotions and musical events.
As Empire Music Organization recognized the
musical ability of Joel Crafton he was asked to write a song that would launch them into the disco era. Joel then released a song titled
“ SHE’S SLEEK SHE’S FINE” selling close to a million records. Joel has worked with many members of the Atlantic Star on various musical projects. Top executives started to take notice of Joel’s talent and his many skills as his stage name took shape as World Famous Black Pinoy. Pinoy is a Filipino word meaning man of Philippine heritage. Joel’s half Black half Filipino- Ilocano roots opened an international door to his success. Joel speaks too Tagalog the national language of the Philippines and some Ilocanos too as his grandmother was from Ilocos region.

In the Mid 1980’s Joel Crafton had the opportunity to work directly with Mr. Brad Hunt who was SR VP and General Manager at Elektra Entertainment Warner Electra Atlantic from 1983-1992. Joel’s responsibilities were to deal with radio promotions and projection plans connected with
artist marketing. In the early 90’s Joel Crafton worked for Mark Schulman, Atlantic senior vice president and general manager. Joel’s responsibilities were to deal with radio promotions and projection plans connected with artist marketing. Joel Crafton landed a major contract as a producer on Pamaramic Records EMI Ray Goodman and Brown. In the late 1990’s – 2013 Joel Crafton open up a recording studio as he developed many musical projects thus making BLACK PINOY recording artist name as a solid act. Credited Works: 2013 Launched the GOSPEL SOURCE MUSIC website taking the ministry of music to a whole new level. 2011 Joel Crafton appeared in the movie Something Borrowed American romantic comedy film based on Emily Giffin’s book of the same name, directed by Luke Greenfield, starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Kate Hudson, Colin Egglesfield, and John Krasinski and was distributed by Warner Bros. The scene Joel Crafton appeared in displayed the Black Pinoy signature look. 2010 Single song titled: “I’M Here” Recording Artist Joel Crafton Known as Black Pinoy. After this song was released Joel Crafton received an international music award for the song from a Filipino organization in USA. 2005 /2009 FROM THE USA TO HONG KONG CELEBRITY SINGER SONG WRITER JOEL CRAFTON: International contract deal as manager and producer of the Hong Kong Idol winner TARA POLO, JOEL CRAFTON as Exclusive Manager and VIOLET ESCAL as Territory Manager Hong Kong and the Philippines All under Exclusive management of CEO- JOEL CRAFTON. In December 19,2014 Joel Crafton lanced a concert to in Greengburg White Plains, New York To help the Philippines victims. Black Pinoy has performed in over 2,000 places throughout the USA and other Countries from R&B, Dance and Gospel.
