Charitee Justice

Charitee Justice (Stage Name) a pop artist from Muir, Michigan, launched a career in Music in 2017-2018 releasing a single, Broken Smiles, with lyrics written by her late mother that was featured on the WION Underground Audio Show in 2017. Following this release, she has distributed a debut album and several more singles with lyrics all written by herself and has an upcoming single featuring a Nigerian Artist, Jackson Ken, which features a collaboration between the two artists called 'Empire' and a remix of a song from her first full length album 'Standing Here', Hottie. Her music is a mix of Pop with Hip Hop & Alternative influences, and ranges from upbeat, inspirational, to dance, to explicit edgy music packed with attitude!
The artist has music available on Vinyl Records and works with producers as she records and distributes music from home.
Charitee Justice auditioned for American Idol in D.C. and again later in Chicago.
She was in karaoke competitions throughout her life, performed 'What's up' by Four Non Blondes on 106.3 FM Radio in Greenville with her uncle Pat playing the guitar and her mom there for support, who had arranged the on air performance for her, and who also performed live on air herself on another date, and sang the National Anthem in the Firefighters Parade in Sheridan, Michigan in 2009. She stopped pursuing her career following her mothers passing in 2012.
In spring of 2017, she aggressively started pursuing her music career, auditioning for several bands and landing a spot with a show band Parllo's Connection for a short time before working with Daddio Dupree of JaJa Records in Grand Rapids, Michigan to start recording her mothers song. She'd decided she wanted to bring her moms song to life and produce her own music with songs she'd also written from as young as age 13. She says 'Dupree really helped her to recreate her moms song and to give it the feel and authenticity she would have wanted, and taught her how to compose her own music'. She relocated back to Muir, Michigan from Grand Rapids and purchased an interface from Main Street Music, where she met Jim & his wife, shop owners and discussed the song, which she brought to the store on a CD for Jim to air on WION.
She was soon after interviewed and performed on a Michigan based talk show, 1 on 1 with Jane, who is also a film producer & comedian; which can be viewed on her youtube.

She went through a major learning curve and is 'still learning every day in a new music industry as an independent artist' and has music out on all streaming platforms, including iheartradio and Spotify. Her albums will also be available on Amazon on Demand & Target Music in CD format in November. Her first music video, also fully self produced and edited, Broken Smiles, is being released on November 10th, 2018; which is her mother's birthdate. She says this video 'will honor her mother's memory very much so, and, although it isn't her main genre of music, she believes in this song and knows her mom would be proud'
