Darrell Arnold

Darrell Arnold's compositions are soulful folk-rock, with a twist of country blues. Darrell now lives in Surfside, FL, where he regularly plays his own material and as part of the Sarah Jacob Trio. He has just returned to the studio for the first time for over 10 years to record new songs and new arrangements with the Miami musicians Jack Shawde, Diane Ward, Matthew Sabatella, and Max Farber. It is a promising Americana CD, sure to excite fans of the genre.

Darrell lived in Germany in the 1990s and early 2000s, working there into the club scene and playing as opening act for Canned Heat, Eric Burdon and the New Animals and for two tours of The Yardbirds. In 2002, he won a German national prize for CD production of the Year with the German Pop and Rock Music Association for his CD, Everyday Stories, which was recorded with the Dead Buffaloes (Mayo, Thomas Jauer, and Bill Buffalo) and co-produced with Henrik Schaper (of Udo Lindenburg's Panikorkester) and Klaus Bohlman. While in Germany Darrell also recorded with the Buffalo Fish. Be sure to check out the Darrell Arnold and the Buffalo Fish CD, Fish Out of Water, available through the links on the left of this page.
