Del Henry, Liszenup Houzeband

Del Henry will release a series of ten Singles in 2019; leading up to his next Album, coming late summer this year. “Wrong About Me,” “If You Want To,” and “Again” were the first three this spring. Releases in June & July will be: "Dream Awhile - And See What You Can Be," "Twilight," "Always," "Still," and more.

Del writes, arranges, and produces songs to fit the story and feeling in the song. Accordingly, he formed the LisZenUp HouzeBand™ to aggregate talented musicians to help tell those stories. Probably the best way to describe Del is as the 'conductor' of the mood, dynamics, and musicality of the arrangement and recording. He has been a voting member of the Grammys for 26 years, and, also, a member of the Recording Academy's prestigious Producers & Engineers Wing (P&E Wing) for 26 years.

His songs have played on thousands of stations. One of his songs was the most requested song on the nation's number one station at the time; and, was featured on 3000+ stations across several radio networks. One release set records for sales on a Shopping Network.

His degree is from the University of California at Berkeley. He was a sports all-star and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at two High Schools.

He has three teenage boys; two are becoming exceptional musicians as well. His son, Brandon Delwin Henry, is featured on Del's most current single release entitled "The First Time;" a 'pop-the-question' song for proposals and weddings. With lyrics: “The First Time your eyes touched mine. The First Time I felt your smile.”©

His "Mother's Day Everyday" album features eleven songs about mothers, and every mother's role in guiding our youth. The “Stairways” story stretches imaginations. You may want to get to know Del by way of his music, lyrics, and poetry. Thoughtful and compelling music and stories.

His music career started in the 4th grade and continued through high school, college, his professional life, and today. He started writing songs when he was fifteen. While at Berkeley he signed a recording contract with a major, wrote songs, and promoted Jim Morrison and The Doors and other bands. His business career took him to the top as CEO, President, COE, and SVP across several industries. Music has power. His first love !!!
