Diane Taber

Diane toured the US and Canada, extensively, as a featured singer. In 2006 she took her first high-dive into songwriting and mid-air knew she was ready to write and sing her own songs. Her music is influenced by our constantly changing world. “Where we go from where we’ve been is what’s exciting and potent,” says Diane, and each new CD is a natural progression of writing and performance. As to the latest album, Serve with Straw, she invites you to, “Jump in, the music’s fine.”

Indie rock-jazz is the natural progression for Diane’s music. She writes lyrical stories in smart compositional structures. Serve with Straw, to be released June 14, 2016, is the 2nd release from her label, DTM-Music. More Than One Ingredient came out in 2013 to world-wide airplay and acclaim; however, it’s clear this new CD is not a follow-up album.

Diane's fans are of all age groups and from a variety of countries. She attributes this to her own love of music from many genres and from around the world. From US rock to Venezuelan jazz to French pop and Russian Big Band, from The Black Keys to Regina Carter to Keiko Matsui, and Chris Botti to Bongo Maffin's South African dance music, she listens and learns. "This dame's got it all...soulful disc" writes Martin from Belfast, Ireland. "Diane has a marvelous, jazzy voice, I love it." E.Marquez, Germany. "OMG. She's got a beautiful voice," posted A. Jayathilaka from Sri Lanka.
