Donna Gentile

Donna Gentile (pronounced "Dah-nuh Gen-teel") performs Americana, folk, world and Native spirit-inspired originals and covers. She released her debut "Music is Medicine" EP in September, 2018, which can be found at and on CD Baby at

Gentile believes music is medicine and has the power to heal and transform. It helped her take back her power after domestic violence and today, she uses music and stories to empower and uplift others.

Gentile is Italian, Irish, Czechoslovakian, Lithuanian and German, and has strong connections to nature and native (European & American) spirituality, which is evident in her music. There is a velvet, honey and rustic edge to Gentile’s sound. Audiences are moved by her rich vocals, inspirational stories and authentic delivery. Original lyrics are woven with deep meaning and upbeat melodies that haunt and hook.

1.) This Is Me — Recovery song for thriving based on the quote "Living well is the best revenge!"
2.) An American Song — Anthem for veterans, all who serve and their families.
3.) I Do — Toe-tappin’ love/wedding song about young love that endures.
4.) River Song For Kira — Native spirit-inspired (Cherokee) gentle birthing song.
5.) Crossing Over — Honor song to help our loved ones change worlds inspired by “Live Your Life” teaching by Tecumseh (Shawnee).

Here's what some folks are saying about Gentile's music:

"Donna Gentile is just as her unique name intimates… Gentle, yet in touch with what is Relevant and happening Today. Through her own personal trials, and view of the world around her, she spins a web of grace musically that is unmistakably ‘Her.’ More than a musician, Donna provides a Window to the World of struggle… and ultimately Triumph. Whether as a motivational speaker or a musical treat, she offers the youth and adults of today her perspective on how to appreciate the Moment—with high expectation and Passion—as ‘Life is not a rehearsal’." — Robert Gottfried, ROB THE DRUMMER

"One of Connecticut’s all time treasures. A rare talent with a powerful, rich and unique vintage country voice. You won’t want to leave." — James Copeland, Writer of Cold Steel, published by The Marshall Tucker Band

"I was listening to your songs and every one of them pulled me away—out of where I sit—falling into the song—just like magic… I love your songwriting. It reveals a truth about life, as all good poetry does." — Mark Gruebel, ReverbNation Fan, Mukwonago, WI

"A diamond in the rough!" — Nicole Cassarino Conlon, DFX Entertainment
