doug allen

With two songs off the new CD getting picked up by Major Motion Pictures, he’s off to a pretty good start…

People say this guy from Connecticut sounds a little like Zac Brown, Train, or Keith Urban. He’s a singer/songwriter who’s catchy hooks, and rich voice, keep getting him noticed by filmmakers and music fans from coast to coast. He grew up camping and fishing in the woods and streams around his home state of CT and has just finished recording his 4th CD in Nashville, Tennessee. Enjoy... Thanks for taking a listen.

LIVE SHOWS: Doug’s been busy playing lots of bars and clubs over the past few years in promotion of his third CD and is now starting to get bigger opening spots (ie: Edwin McCain and Gregg Allman) in small theaters like the Webster Theater in his home state of CT. Harrah’s Showboat Casinos in Atlantic City has caught onto his sound and has offered him monthly gigs in their Masque Bar. Nashville clubs have invited him in to play as well and he’s starting to get back there on a regular monthly basis to play solo acoustic sets.

With his third CD out, Doug’s been getting spins of “Blue Room” on Connecticut’s Biggest Rock Station 99.1 WPLR and some North East College Radio Stations. “Sacramento” the ballad single off the new CD is a common favorite.
