The band broke up shortly after releasing their debut album in 2000.
From 2000-2013 He led the band "CG & The Hammer", realeasing 4 albums and touring the USA 3 times, while representing Israel at the International Blues challenge twice in Memphis (where they recorded their fourth album at historical "Sun " studios.
From 2012 to 2017 Dov Hammer collaborated with guitarist Andy Watts to form the"Blues Rebels" - the band has backed up leading Blues artists such as Joe Louis Walker, Lucky Peterson and Bernard Allison, and they were the opening act for the legendary Johnny Winter. The Blues Rebels released 2 albums "Open road" and "Voodoo land" which was produced by Joe Louis Walker who also makes a guest appearance on the album.
