My musical journey all started back when I was 12 years old and I first listened to The Beatles “The White Album.” This album deeply moved me, as it did for so many others. As I grew older, bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, David Bowie, Beck, Muse, Radiohead, Psychedelic Furs, Simple Minds, Thompson Twins, U2, Enigma, Moby, Nirvana, and The Smashing Pumpkins (etc, etc), as well as Classical music, made me realize how much music was a part of my life and soul.

In college, I started making mix tapes (both audio and videotape compilations) of various songs to play at parties. This eventually led me into creating concert themes and promoting numerous bands at several nightclubs in Santa Barbara while attending college. I greatly enjoyed choosing which bands to book, creating flyers, and making sure none of the bands cancelled! After graduating from UCSB, I lived in Los Angeles for several years and eventually moved back to Carmel, Ca. where I had grown up for much of my life. One day, I just happened to sit down at the Steinway Grand Piano that had been at my parent’s home for so long, and I began to play. Even that first day, I knew that I had finally found my true musical path to follow. Writing music greatly inspired me, and allowed me to express emotionally everything that I was unable to before. The piano sessions eventually motivated me to purchase musical instruments as tools of the trade.

My music can be vaguely categorized as instrumental Electronic, although I do have several songs that have vocals and lyrics. In the future, I hope to work with an established, talented singer since I do have lyrics for some of the songs that I have written. Music genres are various and eclectic, including Ambient, Trance, EDM, House, Industrial, Electro, Electronic Rock, instrumental Hip Hop, and New Age. Utilizing dreamy pianos, lush synth soundscapes, heavy bass, cutting-edge beats, creative chord arrangements, emotional and original melodies, Dreamtranced music is ethereal, intense, melodic, rhythmic, uplifting, soothing, sometimes gloomy, and typically results in emotional responses from the listener. Our world today is unfortunately in turmoil and my music is a way that I personally release some of this tension.

I have 11 full-length albums and one EP released so far, available on CD Baby and other online retailers. My most recent album "Somewhere Sometimes," was released in early 2019 and is an album that I believe I definitely reached a higher plateau in my craft. Prior to that, "Nothing Comes Easy", was released in October 2017. I continue to expand my online presence using Twitter, Soundcloud, and through my websites and I also have an extensive collection of unreleased material from the past. My released songs have been high quality recordings and have been mastered by 2 time Grammy winner Robert Hadley, formerly head Recording Engineer at The Mastering Lab in Ojai, Ca. My studio recordings are transferred in 24 bit prior to mastering, with the expertise of Dom Camardella at Santa Barbara Sound Design, the same studio that Depeche Mode utilizes. I have also created all the graphics for the albums, and built my own websites, as well as directed and produced 5 music videos.

I am currently an unsigned, solo Indie band, although I use my own label Rock Art Records and my self-publishing company Dream Realm Music. Through my affiliation with ASCAP, I own all copyright and publishing rights, and I am greatly interested in pursuing Sync Licensing for film, toy companies, video games, etc., as well as publishing deals and potential Record label contracts.
