Opportunity and change can go hand in hand. I've listened to these musicians George Fludas, Dennis Carroll and Bill Carrothers perform on recordings and in person. Taking the chance to put together a recording date became a gift.

The present is constant with change, possibilities and hopefully a spark of the unknown. Our focus to perform fresh and lively sounds, especially in the quiet moments, holds constant.

Flow never played as a group previous to recording. "Diminished Returns" being the first, we did 2 sessions with most made on the first or second take. This recording was done as live as possible with all of us in the same room and two dividers.

Bill brought 5 compositions with "Colleville-Sur-Mer" being recorded for the first time.
George plays a wonderful 2 choruses on Jackie McLean's "Little Melonae".
Dennis is the lead on our reading of 1 (Angelico) composed by Federico Mompou.

Jodie Christian's "Chromatically Speaking" was our last song of the first day and is one take in his spirit. Thelonious Monk's "Nutty" was a spur of the moment call after a rendition of "the Good Life". I opted for "I Had the Craziest Dream" composed by Harry Warren instead.

The rest are mine. Thank you for listening.
