Garry Guillaume

A Port-au-Prince, Haitian native since 1984, Garry Guillaume grew up falling in love with music, singing worship songs, Backstreet Boys, and other lovely music in the streets. In 1998 Garry made the decision to become a professional musician and began singing acapella in various churches, also learning to play the guitar and piano. "Algo Sound" is the name of the first national travelling choir he sang for, and shortly after Garry founded his own music group "Voices Praise". In 2008 his first album "Let the Children Come" was released in Haiti, as he continued to travel and assist various choirs and recording centers around Haiti.

Before moving to the U.S. in 2012 to be with his wife, Rio T. Guillaume, Garry served as maestro of the “Spirit of Light Gospel Choir” in Callebasse, and leader of the band “Melodie”. Along with writing and recording his own music, Garry and Rio began forming "Voice of Jean Rabel", an organization to assist the beautiful northwest Haitian community of Jean Rabel. Garry hopes to use his music not only to encourage and inspire his listeners, but to use his profit to give the people of Jean Rabel a chance for a brighter future through education, medical care, economical development, construction, and spiritual nourishment.

"I praise God for all the beautiful gifts I have been given in this life, and my greatest desire is to give all that I have in return to serve my Lord Jesus Christ."
