Gracie Rosenberger

Gracie Rosenberger
Emerging from a catastrophic car accident resulting in more than seventy operations, including the amputation of both legs, Gracie Rosenberger now steps onto the stages of the world to share the same hope that continues to sustain her.

Performing publicly since the age of 5, Gracie’s formal study as a vocal performance major helped develop her powerful voice that brings audiences to their feet across the country. Gracie’s long list of media credits include NBC’s TODAY Show, CNN, WEB MD, TBN, and hundreds of print publications. When Gracie performed at the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York, she became the first woman with a disability to perform at a major party's convention.

Gracie counts as one of her most moving invitations the request by the commanding general of Walter Reed Army Medical Center for Gracie to perform at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new amputee-training center for military personnel experiencing limb-loss. Since then, the US Army regularly invites Gracie to perform and spend time with wounded warriors who are struggling to come to grips with their own devastating injuries.

Gracie saw the need for quality prosthetic limbs for her fellow amputees in developing countries, so she and her husband, Peter, founded the artificial limb outreach, Standing With Hope, Inc. Through Standing With Hope, Gracie equips and trains local workers on building high quality prosthetic limbs for their own people …all as an evangelical outreach.

Gracie and Peter are the authors of Gracie-Standing With Hope, published in 2010 by Liberty University Press.
