Greg Burrows

Greg Burrows is a New York based drummer specializing in post-Bop jazz, who has played locally in and around New York City and the region--as well as national US and world touring--since first making waves on the scene on a Teo Macero-produced album by guitarist Sal Salvador, in 1990. Since then, he's freelanced and worked as a recording artist, joining many varied music scenes such as the folk/rock world (3 years with vocalist/songwriter Sloan Wainwright, work with singer/songwriter/activist Patricia Shi, others), and world music/Latin percussion (5 years with legendary Brooklyn band Chicha Libre). Tell Your Story (2018) is Greg's first venture as a leader/co-producer.
