Jenna Ehrle

Hey there! My name is Jenna and I was pretty much born into a musical family. I was inspired by my father who played guitar and sang. As soon as I was old enough to talk, I began to sing and before you knew it we were harmonizing in three-part harmony- my dad, my sister, and me. He died at a fairly young age, and now part of my journey is to continue his musical tale.

I began performing professionally in musical theatre by the age of 12 and haven't stopped ever since. I was very lucky to have performed in over 100 productions and worked for equity theatre companies all over the country. One of My favorite roles though, was playing the Evil Queen at Disneyland.

Currently, I enjoy writing and gigging in the Denver area. I've sung and performed in such venues as the Soiled Dove, Dazzle Restaurant and Lounge, Jazz at Jacks, Hapa Sushi, Nonna's Bistro, and Wystone's World Teas. In 2011, I was recently featured as the vocalist for Louis Colaiannia on 2 of his albums, The Keys of Christmas and A Moment Between Eternities. The single, A Moment Between Eternities, reached #5 in the New Age charts for March 2011. The album reached #22 for the year for New Age. In 2010, I also wrote and performed two original songs "Thank You" and "Fly Butterfly" for the Butterfly project, filmed in Denver and presented on American Woman Television.

In June 2011, I released my first album as a singer/songwriter, Lifting the Darkness, which features several of my originals. Right now, I am writing in a brand new style that is a cross between Etta James and Adele. I will be hopefully releasing a new EP sometime in 2012. Currently, 4 of my originals and 3 of my covers are being played on Women of Substance Radio.

I received my Bachelor of Music from California State University, Long Beach in vocal music and my master’s degree in vocal performance in jazz and commercial music from DU's Lamont School of Music in June 2009.
