Jezabel Martinez

Jezabel Martinez is a multitalented artist. She got her Degree in Film and TV Direction and Cinematography in the prestigious Escuela TAI in Madrid, (Spain)
Jezabel is also a violinist and composer. She studied with great musicians such as Valeri Gazarian and Gayane Abrahamyan.
She combines film direction and screenwriting with score composing. She has created music for films, documentaries, commercials and shortfilms. Some of them have been awarded in many festivals. Jezabel won, for example, the prestigious SCIFE Award for the Best Original Soundtrack.
She created music for the Spanish National Ballet Company, with very positive reviews.
Jezabel composed the music for Mother Sand, the first film made with sand animation. She won several awards around the world and her music was acclaimed as a masterpiece.
As a violinist, she plays in her Celtic Folk Band, Kinnia. She has played too with the Stradivari Symphony Orchestra and the Camerata Musicalis.
As a filmmaker, with her shortfilm “Da Capo” got a great international success.
She won the Gold Remi Award in Houston International Film Festival (Texas, USA), and was awarded in several Film Festivals around the world.
Jezabel also shoots performances, documentaries, commercials, and acclaimed video-dance shortfilms.
She is also a freelance photographer and she takes part in Art Exhibitions as member of the prestigious female art group “Generando Arte”.
At present she is working in several projects, combining music and visual arts.

Artista polifacética Diplomada en Dirección de Cine y Realización TV por la Escuela TAI, de Madrid.
Violinista y compositora formada con Valeri Gazarian y Gayane Abrahamyan. Estudia ProTools en la Escuela CICE de Madrid, para combinar la tradición de la escuela de música rusa con las nuevas tecnologías.
Compagina la dirección cinematográfica y la escritura de guiones con la composición de bandas sonoras para cortometrajes, documentales y largometrajes, algunos de los cuales han logrado prestigiosos premios como el Premio SCIFE a mejor Música Original.
Ha sido compositora de la música para la pieza “Moving Point”, coreografiada por Gabriel Barrenengoa, de la Compañía Nacional de Danza.
Compone la música para Madre Arena, primera película de animación con arena galardonada en numerosos festivales de todo el mundo.
Como realizadora, con su corto “Da Capo” ha alcanzado un gran éxito internacional, siendo ganadora del premio Gold Remi Award en el festival Internacional de Houston (Texas, USA), además de recibir la Mención Especial del Jurado en el Festival de las Naciones (Austria), es finalista en varios festivales de USA y Europa.
Violinista en la banda folk irlandesa Kinnia. Participa en conciertos de la Stradivari Symphony Orchestra y la Camerata Musicalis.
Fotógrafa freelance, realiza reportajes de temática variada. Expone su obra fotográfica con el Colectivo GENERANDO ARTE.
Actualmente realiza varios proyectos que combinan música, artes plásticas y artes visuales.
