John Dylan

John Dylan is a DIY musician who makes open source, self-released music in San Francisco, CA. The music is dreampop with psych-rock, emo, British invasion, and prog-rock influences, all written and performed by one guy.

His debut album, "Peripheral Drift Illusion," releases on October 10, 2017, featuring artwork by Klaus Voormann (Beatles, John Lennon).

Previous projects include:

Terrene, which John fronted. Toured the US in support of the album The
Indifferent Universe, produced by Phil Ek (The Shins, Fleet Foxes,
Built to Spill), playing shows with bands such as Of Montreal. Video
for "Unwelcome" won Yahoo!'s music video of the year for 2008, was
aired on MTV2's Subterranean and HBO's Feedback.

Mars Accelerator, released several seminal albums on Sub Pop imprint
RXRemedy, playing shows with bands such as Modest Mouse. Sophomore
album Frankfurt: Telephonics was produced by Steve Fisk (Nirvana,
Harvey Danger, Afghan Wigs).
