Kolton Stewart is already an accomplished actor, singer, musician, and dancer. Born into a musical family in 1999, Kolton is passionate about music and began drumming and competing in a pipe band at age four! While most kids were playing with toys or at the park, Kolton spent three or more hours a day “doing music” as he called it. By five years old, he won the Ontario All-Star Talent Show by performing a drum solo he had composed. By the time Kolton was seven, he had advanced to international competitions with an adult pipe band and joined the local high school band as a percussionist. Music is in his soul. It is in his DNA.

When he was only 13 years old Kolton gained international recognition when he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen was so inspired by the young Kolton’s YouTube performances that she invited him onto her show where he performed Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up" to the adoration of all who saw him!

Kolton has performed as an actor/musician/dancer in The Stratford Festival of Canada with roles in The Music Man, West Side Story, and Macbeth. He went on to join the cast of The Lion King on its North American Tour as the Young Simba. Kolton continues to find parts on-stage with more productions being planned.

An accomplished dancer after becoming inspired by his exposure in theatre Kolton has studied tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and hip-hop with over 5 years of competitive experience.

After his run with The Lion King, Kolton began to audition for film and TV roles and has enjoyed a steady stream of work as a young actor. He played the starring role of Jarvis Raines in the YTV series Some Assembly Required. Kolton also sings the show's opening theme "Here We Go".

Kolton has also appeared in the TV teen dance drama The Next Step and supernatural medical drama Saving Hope. Along with his TV experience he has held roles in the films My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016), Angels In The Snow (2015), and I Declare War (2012). Kolton is currently starring in TV film The Swap that is still in production for a 2017 release.

Inspired in his youngest years by artists like Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, The Monkees and Elton John; Kolton now also looks to more recent musical influences such as Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and John Mayer. In addition to singing and percussion, Kolton also plays guitar, bass, and keyboards and his original music reflects his eclectic taste as it mixes various styles and rhythms ranging from pop to soul.
