Kurt Kuenne

Kurt Kuenne is an award-winning filmmaker and composer of both fiction and documentary films. His films as writer/director/composer include the Frank Capra Award-winning film "Shuffle" (2011); the acclaimed documentary "Dear Zachary" (2008, Nominee - Best Documentary Score, International Film Music Critics); the musical short films "Rent-A-Person", "Validation", "Slow" and "The Phone Book"; the PBS documentary "Drive-In Movie Memories"; and the award-winning teen drama "Scrapbook". His work as composer only includes the award-winning score for "The Blacklist" creator Jon Bokenkamp's first feature "Preston Tylk" and re-scoring the 1925 silent classic "Cyrano de Bergerac"; this score was premiered by the San Diego Symphony and called "one of the most lush, romantic and exceptional pieces of music ever composed for a silent film" (, 2000).
