Leeann Flynn is a multi-instrumentalist and songstress recognised for her beautifully penned original music, and most recently for her works with the Celtic Harp. A ‘love-child’ from humble beginnings, Leeann’s music invites you to step outside your comfort zone as she shares her journey in song. She is “…an accomplished Singer/Songwriter – with songs that have broad appeal.” Kevin Hooper, ACBA Magazine.

Her recording career began in 1990 at Windwood Studios with Terry Cox and Barry Henninger from Soundview Studios and later with Aria award winner Bob Spencer at the Freezer Studios, Katoomba. Since then Leeann has successfully created her own recording/ production company; releasing several albums with Crosscurrents Music & Media and her recently created label StringSong Music.

Leeann has had numerous radio appearances, ABC Australia, 3AW Melbourne, and 5UV Adelaide, as well as many other local and community stations: 3RRR & 3PBS. She has been featured in multiple newspaper and magazine articles: Rhythms Magazine, Capital News and Secrets Magazine who recently spotlighted Leeann’s music for her work as an artist in regional Victoria.

The release of Leeann’s 6th album (Feb 2014) ‘Keep Your Head Above the Clouds’ has lead her back into the festival scene with a regional concert tour of NSW. Her time is spent writing, recording, performing & mentoring/ teaching from her home in the Macedon Ranges. She travels to various venues both private and public to perform and provides workshop sessions in Voice & Traditional String instruments, as well as Music Production & Songwriting.
