Lisa Ml Saunders

I grew up singing in the kitchen with my Sisters Denice Webb and Lori Pennington, and my Mother Saundra (Battista) Alimonti. Mom taught us to harmonize with each other. When I was 19, I was diagnosed with asthma, and put on steroids. I chose to go off of the meds after a couple of years, because I just didn't feel well. I found that I was able to sing better without the meds. I occasionally find myself out of breath every so often when I'm speaking, but it doesn't seem to affect me when I'm singing for the Lord.

My husband Leal is a highly decorated combat wounded Vietnam Veteran. Leal usually plays his 12 String, which he converted to an 8 String, and has a unique sound. He's self taught on guitar and has been playing since he was 15. He's one of 8 kids, and from a great family who have endured many hardships, and who love the Lord.

Leal lost his son Eric Saunders a few years ago to Diabetes; that's when God gifted us this song. We just lost our brother Chris Alimonti in October of 2017... we know where Eric and Chris are, and we thank God for this song, because it gives us a peace that passes all understanding... A peace we hope to impart to you.

Still Small Voice was recorded at Atlantis Recording Studio at 5078 W Baldwin Rd, Swartz Creek, Michigan.
