Been playing the keys and plucking' the (guitar) strings since I was 4 and 14 respectively. Never thought I was gonna' do music as a career - EVER! But little by little, I finally listened to my parents as they always told me, "Use the talents that God gave you." Took a while but I'm glad I listened. Thanks mom & dad :). Early influences came from the piano side of things. I listen to the likes of Floyd Cramer as a little kid. First song I ever learned to play on piano was Floyd Cramer's version of, "Last Date." From there, the likes of George Winston, Yanni, Jim Brickman, David Lanz and more became my mentors, influences, teachers and more through my the years. I started playing out when I was 18 and the rest as the age old saying goes, is history. Over almost 40 years of writing, performing, recording, producing etc..., I've run the gambit from solo piano to synthesizers and more. But in the end when all is said and done, it's the core or the roots of it all that matters. I've learned this both the fun and the hard way. When I go out and do shows and concerts nowadays, it's gotta be what makes me happy first. But a very close second is what the audience wants. They're the other half of the show. Without them, you got nothin'. Fortunately, my music has found a home in the audiences I play for. I'll be forever grateful for that!
