Minister Bryan L. Oakley

BRYAN L. OAKLEY

Hailing from Southwestern Pennsylvania, Bryan L. Oakley has an eclectic influence in his musik; however the foundation has always been gospel. As a young teen, Bryan discovered hiphop coming out of New York City six hours to the East of his hometown, Houston, PA. Through considerable balance, he became a respected local emcee while still singing and playing the drums in church. It's this trait of diversity that marks Cherubim Musik Recording Corporation today. He has shared the stage with notable hiphop and r&b talents as well as ministered with international gospel choirs. The story was conclusive with the first release from Minister bryan l. oakley, the R&P gospel project, preacha man in 2002. It was critically welcomed in a sometimes monolithic industry, garnering a nomination for Best Gospel from the Southern California Gospel Announcer's Guild. Minister Oakley set out to further solidify the foundation of CMGs signature sound, R&P, with the second release from the label in 2008, Psalms of Solomon: You're Already Rich. Psalms of Solomon explores all of Bryan L. Oakley's musikal roots from traditional spiritual/choral to hiphop, jazz, and r&b. The first single from the project was taken from the Hymnal itself. It's this bridge-building concept between traditional and contemporary that aligns CCE, Inc. and CherubimMusikGroup with the Church and the Great Commission. With his third release, High Places: Chronicles of the Lion and the Lamb, due on the CMG label, CCE, Inc. pledges to bring its listeners and supporters more cutting edge, anointed entertainment!
