Nadine Simmons

“Jesus Christ transformed me from one who was bound by drugs to a woman of faith, strength, perseverance, and one with a never-ending desire to know more about the God who delivered me.”

Nadine Simmons, a native of Brooklyn, New York, who began singing in the church, began her singing career more than 30 years ago. She was an r&b backup singer for various recording artists after moving to Atlanta, Georgia, where she became the lead singer with her own band, as well as an opening act for major recording artists, such as Candi Staton, The Manhattans, Billy Paul, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, The Main Ingredient, Ray, Goodman & Brown, and Eddie Kendricks and David Ruffin of the Temptations.

When Nadine returned to NYC, she worked as a session singer, who soon found her niche as a lead singer with many party bands that sought after her to perform at high-end corporate events, weddings and parties.

Always a writer, Nadine began recording her self-written songs in the studio. Her contemporary gospel singles “I Praise Your Name” released in 2019 and “Whatever You Want, released in 2018, follows her highly anticipated inspirational album, Still Strong, which was released two years earlier.

Nadine looks forward to sharing more of her music with the world in 2019.
