*WarHorses for Heroes ~ a Memphis-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of our ill and injured veterans through the art of equine therapy. You can give back to those who have served you and our country by donating to our cause at

*Guitars for Vets ~ Thousands of our war Veterans are afflicted with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In fact, more soldiers have committed suicide since the Vietnam War than have died in actual battle. But many are finding hope in an unlikely place: behind the wood and strings of an acoustic guitar. The healing power of music helps soldiers cope. That’s why we provide veterans with guitars and a forum to learn how to play. But we can't do it without your help. Please read on to learn more out about the program and how you can help those who served rediscover their joy through the power of music.

*The Veterans Crisis Line ~ a free, confidential resource that’s available to anyone, even if you’re not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care. The caring, qualified responders at the Veterans Crisis Line are specially trained and experienced in helping Veterans of all ages and circumstances.

*Operation Stand Down Midsouth Inc. (OSDM) ~ a 501c(3) non-profit organization that is located in Memphis, TN. OSDM was founded in 2009 by William Jones, who is a decorated Desert Storm Veteran and a retired non-commissioned Officer.

The goal of OSDM is to provide care and assistance to our Veterans. We want to provide for our Veterans that have faced perilous danger while defending our freedom and preserving the American way of life. To accomplish this, OSDM partners with several local and national organizations including the United States Department of Veteran Affairs. ODSM also works alongside with the Veterans of Foreign War, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans as well as other community and social service organizations.

OSDM is a non-partisan organization, that advocates for Veterans by meeting with local and state representatives.

OSDM’s objectives are to provide resource information to improve and enhance the quality of life for our Veterans, This includes but not limited to health seminars, housing fairs, drug counseling, job skills training, educational services, legal aid, and reconnecting our displaced Veterans with their families and their communities as well..
