Neil Nathan

As both a producer and singer songwriter, Neil jaunts from classic rock with some Marc Bolan spark and swagger, to singer/songwriter with a touch of Americana twang. Nathan's debut, The Distance Calls, was produced by Detroit Garage Rock Hero Bobby Harlow and featured acclaimed musicians from Queens Of The Stone Age, King Tuff, The Go, & Detroit Cobras. That record featured Neil's cover of ELO's "Do Ya," which so impressed rock n’ roll hall of famer Jeff Lynne that he gave his blessing for it to appear on Showtime's Californication Soundtrack. The Distance Calls also included "California Run," which has been featured on ESPN and NHL Network. And Nathan's friend and former roommate, Rosario Dawson, guest starred in the music video.

Nathan also recently co-produced the debut EP’s of Americana singer songwriters Susannah Conn and Caren Le Vine and 18 year old wunderkind’s Engines at New Warsaw Studio in Brooklyn with long time collaborator Riley McMahon. Both records were released on Nathan’s Pirate Vinyl imprint along with collaborator Pete Sinjin’s Better Angels Radio (#10 Euro Americana Charts).
