I joined my first band in 8th grade, The Marauders. We played surf music. My best friend asked me to join though I didn't know how to play guitar. After school I went over to his house and he taught me chords and progressions. After one week I played my first gig. That was over 50 years ago.

I’ve been in lots of bands since; some were successful, most not. Almost all of them played some original music. I played rock & blues from the 60s to the 80s. Then I joined a Welsh folk band. In the 2000s I joined Crookshank, a Euro folk band. Their album can be streamed here.

All the songs posted under my name are originals. “Give Away” is my only album. Most of my music just doesn’t fit a genre. I call it “Adult Contemporary”.

“Fat Donald” is pretty much R&R with virtual brass. A tune I plan to post soon, “I’m Yours, You’re Mine (Tonight)” has mixed meter, oddball chords, virtual horns and orchestration. It’s so peculiar I don’t know if I should be proud or embarrassed. But I’ll release it anyway.

If you want to hear something dissimilar from most other tunes let me suggest you listen to my stuff if you’re bored because everything sounds like everything else.
