QuintaColonna, sometimes QC or VCol in short, is an Italian rock band, born in 1992.

The band immediately establishes itself with a unique and aggressive style: pure rock, with Italian lyrics, a combination of technique and energy. A mix of intense guitars and powerful rhythms, topped by an inimitable voice, with ideas and talent to spare.

One of the local producers signs them for the recording of some songs that receive a wide appreciation. The production of the first years is thriving and interesting: from emotional ballad (Il buio in una stanza), to classic riffing (Ti libererò), and to songs which have a devastating impact, especially live (In balia).
After some changes in the lineup, the band releases "Stai con me", a song that must be listened to in one breath, appreciating its refined dynamics and atmosphere. Naturally they continue to play live, always with a big fanbase and news following.

In 2006 the band releases "ERA", the album that collects all the production from the '90s. "The basic idea is that the disc would sound like if it were actually produced in those years, so we kept post-production at a minimum level," they say.

In 2016 QuintaColonna publishes his second album of previously unreleased tracks, named "Hr +", in the fresh formation that sees Marco Tufi (voice), Nicola Farfanelli on guitars, Stefano Petri on bass and Roberto Corbelli on the drums.

"Hr + contains 11 original songs, each of which is a potential hit: it is a disc different from ERA, ... more modern, but equally disruptive!" they declare.
