Remi Bolduc

In the recent years, Rémi Bolduc has been very active on the canadian jazz scene. He created many projects. All of them were positively noticed by both critics and jazz lovers. Projects such as his Tribute to Dave Brubeck and Tribute to Charlie Parker, the Random Masters, Sax Zenith with PJ Perry, Phil Dwyer, Kirk MacDonald and Kelly Jefferson. Rémi Bolduc develops and produces many projects devoted almost exclusively to its various ensembles. He recorded eight albums including several with international artists such as bassist Marc Johnson, guitarist Ben Monder, pianist Kenny Werner and tenor saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi. Several of his albums have received an enthusiastic response. One of his most completed projects, the CD "Tribute to Charlie Parker," won the FELIX for best jazz album at l'ADISQ in 2011. Rémi Bolduc also won an Opus prize awarded from the Conseil Québécois de la Musique in 2014 for his concert 4+2 with guest artist Phil Dwyer and Jerry Bergonzi.
Rémi Bolduc is Associate Professor at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University in Montreal, Québec, Canada.
