Rick Street (Rick Tallarigo Sr) is a USA midwest native, where he grew up with the sounds of the folk rock revolution in the 60s, playing and touring regionally. While attending the University of Cincinnati, Rick wrote and performed music for several theater productions and more recently performed acting and singing roles in several local productions. While attending the University of Cincinnati, Rick wrote and performed music for several theater productions: Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Brecht's "The Caucasian Chalk Circle", and Carmichael's "Another Day." He has also written several pieces for Brad Lang's "Three Hundred." Rick has recently performed the singing/acting role of "Ken" in Vincent Kee's "Sonny's Place: The Greatest Jam Session that Never Happened." Rick has also acted in Shelly Gibbs' Phat Cat Films productions of "Harmonica Man", "Wildwood Boot Camp.", and "Where Have All the Italian Cowboys Gone?" The latter was one of 24 official selections into Somerset Community College Theatre’s Digital Video Productions’ “Winter Shorts Film Festival.” Recently performed as Groucho Marx in "Holidays with the Legends." In 2006, legendary Fraternity Records released an EP "Rick Street and 3 Root Soup". In 2007, Rick released "Improvimental Journey", a collection of instrumentals. In 2013, Tate Music Group released Lucky in Kentucky, with the Independent Country Number 1 song for March 28, 2014: "Hardened Hearts", receiving nearly 12000 spins on 69 radio stations. "Splintered Dreams" was Rick's latest project with TMG released summer 2015. "Trials & Airs", an EP produced in Nashville with Bill Wence Promotions was also released in 2015. Soon to be released is album "Easy Pickin's". Rick is retired from US Air Force and is a church music director. He and his artist wife Teina Tallarigo live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
