Hey there! Music has been my passion since I was 14, when my dad taught me a Tom Petty song on his bass. From there, I ripped through albums by U2, Soundgarden, Silverchair, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, and everything in between in order to learn to play. Always secretly wanting to be a guitarist, and after giving up three times because I just couldn't seem to play barre chords, I finally committed to it at the age of 16 and taught myself the basics before finding a music teacher to help me learn more about music theory and lead guitar playing. Since then, I have picked up some mandolin and percussion, and have developed a profound love for singing, especially vocal harmonies, which I cannot seem to get enough of.

Writing music, however, seemed to come naturally, and I have never found a way to turn it off (and at times had wanted to). I remember writing tunes on my family's piano when I was 5 or 6 years old, and as soon as I started playing the bass it picked right back up and has continued since. I'm told my newer music sounds very 90s rock reminiscent of The Cranberries (which I'll take as a huge compliment!), though my main influences have been U2, Silverchair, The Beatles, Guster, Deathcab for Cutie, and pretty much anything blues or 60s rock.
