Rye River Band

"Americana performed by five 'Good Ole Boys' from Dublin, Ireland". Hear the sounds of East Texas, the Appalachian Mountains and the Mississippi Delta washed down with a shot of Irish Whiskey.

The mix of predominantly electric guitar and fiddle provide a sound that travels across the American Roots spectrum. You will be regaled with old time country ballads all the way to “high charged” Rhythm and Blues.

Formed in Leixlip Co. Kildare, Ireland in 1989, Rye River Band play a blend of Americana and Roots standards and original material written by the band's lead singer.
Performed at Festivals throughout Ireland, Kilkenny Roots, Clifden Arts Week, Dublin Docklands, Dunmore East Bluegrass, Leixlip Salmon, Tullamore Phoenix and toured England and Scotland.
Long established residency in the Brazen Head Pub, Dublin on Saturday nights.
