Saint Roch

Playing filthy rock n roll soaked in southern blues and punk influences, New Orleans trio, Saint Roch, will remind you what rock n roll is all about.

Saint Roch was formed at the end of 2015 with vocalist/guitarist Todd Bishop, bassist Derek D, and a temporary drummer in New Orleans, Louisiana. The band went in the studio for a few hours and put together a 3 song demo and were quickly being booked all over the city. The sound was something fresh, but familiar. Filthy rock n roll soaked in southern blues and punk rock influences and an exciting stage show.

One of their tracks “OC/DC” started picking up some radio play and quickly became their first single. It soon became apparent that they needed to replace their drummer with a more permanent member. While the search ensued, the machine keeps moving. They released a Live album and remixed the demo. A stripped down acoustic version of OC/DC was recorded to round the track count to 4, and release it as an EP. Andy Baker was enlisted as the new drummer, and went back in the studio to record some percussion on the unplugged “OC/DC”.

The band quickly picked up where they left off playing a bunch of shows, tightening up their high energy, gritty rock n roll swagger that they have become known for.

The spring of 2017, the band took some time off from performing and locked themselves away in the studio to record almost 2 albums worth of material. Revelator was released in October, 2017 and is technically the 3rd release by Saint Roch, but it is the bands first full length studio record. It is comprised of 12 tracks of their signature greasy punk blues rock n roll, and includes killer renditions of punk rock legends, The Weirdos-“Life Of Crime”, and Grateful Dead-“New Minglewood Blues”

New Year 2018, the band released "MOJO", an EP of cover songs to streaming platforms only. Springtime has them back in the studio writing more music for the full length follow up album with a winter 2018 release planned.

Let there be Roch.
