Sheri Miller

Sheri Miller was born in an extremely musical and creative home in New York. Her mother was an opera singer and classical pianist, and her uncle was a recording engineer and musician. Sheri composed dozens of songs on piano, by age 8, both music and lyrics, from songs about eternal love to stadium rock anthems. She loved singing along with Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and The Beatles.

Sheri has released two critically acclaimed EP’s, and several singles as a solo artist. Her first EP, “Mantra” featured the popular songs, “Right Here, Right Now” and “All He Has To Do,” which have been covered at thousands of weddings. The success of this EP helped land Sheri on Music Connection’s list of “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists,” receive airplay on prestigious radio station KCRW, and license some of the songs. Her second EP, “Winning Hand,” was produced and mixed by Kevin Killen (U2, Peter Gabriel). One of Sheri’s singles, “I Could Love You Still,” produced by Will Lee, features the legendary Steve Cropper on guitar, Paul Shaffer on organ, Will on bass, Shawn Pelton on drums, and Tabitha Fair and Will on harmonies. Sheri also was a member of The Delilahs, a four-part vocal harmony group that signed with Sony Music, produced by Marcus Hummon (Dixie Chicks).

Sheri has co-written songs with Grammy-Award winning songwriters J.D. Souther (Eagles), Al Anderson (NRBQ), Marcus Hummon, Jill Sobule, Shawn Mullins, Tony Scalzo (Fastball), Lauren Christy (The Matrix), Keith Follese (Katy Perry), and Kim Richey, among others.

Sheri has performed locally before Lady Gaga and Norah Jones, and showcased a songwriter night with Lana Del Rey. She’s toured internationally, playing theaters in Ramin Karimloo’s band, as a duet vocalist, background singer and guitarist, and was featured playing her original "I Could Love You Still" every night on this tour, solo acoustic.

Sheri has been recording a new EP/ record in LA, Nashville and NY, with Grammy winner Jeff Bova, Tim Pierce (Springsteen), Will Lee (Fab Faux), Aaron Sterling (Sara Bareilles) and Dave Eggar (Coldplay), mixed by Joe Zook (OneRepublic) and legendary Frank Filipetti, mastered by Randy Merrill (Paul McCartney, Adele 25) at Sterling Sound, to be released in 2019.
