Sunshine and Bullets

Sunshine & Bullets is an active alternative hard rock band based out of Tampa, FL. They feature 2 vocalists (male and female) with hauntingly beautiful and strong melodies reminiscent of Evanescence and A Perfect Circle. They also make creative use of wild guitar and bass effects inspired by Nine Inch Nails, as well as trip-hop infused drum beats.

In 2014, they released an album called Triangulum Mechanism. It is a collection of radio-friendly singles, short interludes, and even an instrumental track called “The Mechanism” that was improvised in the studio. The band is currently writing new music for their next album. It will be called The Centauri Chronicles.

The band was featured on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, a nationally syndicated radio program, rated second to only Howard Stern. Bubba said, “I find your band one of the most brilliant bands I’ve heard in 28 years of radio.” He also suspected that they were on mushrooms. They were reviewed on-air, and even performed live in Bubba’s studio in Tampa. Their review is included as one of the “Best of Bubba” episodes, and can be heard on SoundCloud.

They have performed at 96K-Rock Rockwave, 97X Backyard BBQ, Ink Life Tour, Rock the Park, and Zombiecon, opening for such acts as Imagine Dragons, Bret Michaels from Poison, The Used, Stone Temple Pilots (with Chester Bennington), Chevelle, Anberlin, Jane's Addiction, Filter, Helmet, Foxy Shazam, Falling In Reverse, Middle Class Rut, Civil Twilight, Saving Abel, Framing Hanley, Cinder, Days of the New, John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Stroke 9, Smile Empty Soul, Local H, Adema, Eye Empire, and more.
