Sweet Harriet

Cayo Hueso Christmas Archipelago is inspired by travels to Key West!

What It Feels Like is a single representative of having free range in the studio! Harriet wanted to write a song she could dance to and succeeded with this one!
No Strangers Here Volume 4 is Harriet's 6th album! Produced by and featuring Harriet Riendeau, Brian F. Murphy and Mike Clark. Like the other volumes in this series, it is authentic Americana that puts you in the frame of mind to sing a long. This acoustic collection of cover songs remains true to Harriet's love of singing and is rich in vintage instrumentation. The songs contain what makes music feel so good, as Brian says, music played by people. They meander through genres of rock, pop, country, classical and patriotic.

Sweet Harriet sings with an intimate, heart felt and sassy style! She is a songwriter and acoustic musician who loves interacting with the audience. Stories about her family and experiences with friends provide inspiration for her music. Her first CD, Feeling A Rhythm, released in December 2011. Inspired by many genres of music and the invitation to explore what a studio has to offer, the New Hampshire based singer has an all original songs on her second album, Thanks For Stopping By, with free range creative waves of playful instrumentation throughout the tracks which released in January 2014.

New to singing, writing, playing and performing in 2006, she quickly bonded with other musicians over their shared love of classic rock, country, folk and bluegrass. Harriet began playing with other bands which led to performing live in local home town festivals, farmers markets, fundraisers, campgrounds, nursing homes, churches, funerals and weddings. This included Sweet Tooth, Jerry Jean and his Bluegrass Pickin' Buddies, Sweet Harriet and The Guy, and the locally popular Sing Along With Harriet and Marie, an ongoing benefit for an Alzheimer's group. She performs regularly for the town's Firefighter Relief Association Fire House Breakfast.
