The Calf Branders

The Calf Branders were born out of Lance "Romance" Bakemeyer's (Hillbilly Hellcats, Mustang Lightning, Danny B Harvey, Kerry Pastine and the Crime Scene, Jinx Jones and the Barnyard Stompers), Ranch roots as a Horse Trainer, Ranch Hand, Cattle Rancher, PRCA Tie Down Roper and All Around Cowboy. The Calf Branders were originally the "entertainment" for Lance's families yearly calf branding parties.

In 2004 the Calf Branders were officially started with the release of GOOD ENUFF!? This CD has 14 songs about Calf Branding (of course), Rodeo, driving trucks, being Country in a citified world and drinking whiskey and beer after a long hot day of branding calves.

In 2009 the Calf Branders released their second CD titled IT"S TIME TO PARTY!? This CD was filled with more Cowboy themes, along with songs about Bowling, chewing tobacco, and even a Gospel song.

Shortly after the release of IT'S TIME TO PARTY one of the Calf Branders "Brothers" moved to Mexico and the band disbanded. Tony "Nascar" went on to become the lead guitarist of the Railbenders. Lance went on to re-join the Hillbilly Hellcats and other bands, and the other members went back to being Cowboys.

Almost all the Calf Brander songs have been used in TV as background music in programs such as Pawn Stars, HGTV, Vh1, Discovery Channel and many more.
