The Sweet Remains

THE SWEET REMAINS is a nationally touring, acoustic folk-rock trio, in the tradition of Crosby, Stills & Nash, featuring rich 3-part harmony and strong lyrical songwriting. USA Today has twice selected the band as its "pick of the week," praising TSR's 'sumptuous three- part harmonies." Their music has received over 35 million plays on Spotify. The band is a collaboration between three successful singer/songwriters (Rich Price, Greg Naughton, Brian Chartrand). Formerly signed to RCA and Geffen Records, Rich has released four solo albums and written music for film and television (most notably the multi-platinum selling Shrek 2 soundtrack). Greg's indie debut, 'Demogogue' was hailed by Performing Songwriter Magazine as a "rough and tumble folk-rock gem." In his adopted state of Arizona, Brian is the front- man of revered soul & americana 6-piece the Voce Project, and of the successful 'Live From Laurel Canyon' series. He also tours internationally as a solo artist.

The Sweet Remains have 3 studio albums: Night Songs (2015), North & Prospect (2012), Laurel & Sunset (2008), and a live DVD 'Live At Canal Room' (2011). Beginning in Feb, 2019, the band will release one single per month, culminating in a new release.

The Sweet Remains is adding another unusual accomplishment their catalog: a feature film. “THE INDEPENDENTS” is not a band-documentary, but a fictionalized comedy/drama inspired by the trio’s real-life experiences together and starring the band. Written/directed by band-member Greg Naughton, the film just concluded a highly successful festival run in 2018. The
Hollywood Reporter hailed it “An extremely engaging film… subverts all the cliches of
the star-is-born story”. The Omaha Film Festival awarded it their grand jury-prize for “Best Feature Film 2018”. And with the recent sale of the film for world-wide distribution (details TBA soon) the band has begun announcing special theatrical previews of the film in select cities alongside their upcoming tour dates.
