Tim Wilkins

From as far back as he can remember Tim Wilkins watched the masters of comedy and dreamed of following in their footsteps. Now he is a 20 year veteran stand-up comedian and TV personality who has performed on countless radio, television, and stages around the world.

He has toured as the opening act for some of the legends of music; Earth, Wind & Fire, The Righteous Brothers, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Olivia Newton John, Hall & Oates, Styx, Belinda Carlisle, Wynonna Judd, Julio Iglesias, and many more.

Fulfilling his “Bob Hope” dream, Tim was honored with the chance to strap back on his camouflage and flak jacket as part of the ‘Comics on Duty’ World Tour, entertaining our troops in Afghanistan, Kyrgystan, and state-side bases.

Tim is also known as a bodybuilding and fitness expert having been a regular writer for Muscle and Fitness and Natural Muscle magazines. He has hosted the premier events in the industry since 1998 from local bodybuilding competitions to the Mr./Ms. Olympia contests in Las Vegas.

In 2006 he became the co-host of the Monday-Friday live morning talk show “Studio 10”, on the CBS station in Tampa, FL. In addition to the normal local talk show duties, Studio 10 gave Tim the opportunity to pursue another dream; becoming a TV chef on a weekly segment called “Tim Cooks Smart”. This garnered he and his wife, co-host Michelle Phillips, a Culinary Academy award for best TV presentation in 2009 and a Florida Hall of Fame award for 2011! Currently he can be seen on national TV via the kitchens of HSN.

In 2007, Tim performed at Caeser’s Palace in Las Vegas in The Comedy Festival for HBO. In early 2008 he released his 2nd CD, “Tim Wilkins-Live @Sidesplitter’s” which was featured in its own one hour special on XM radio. It was also considered for a 2008 Grammy Award for Comedy Album of the Year.

Currently he is the face of MOR TV in Tampa and he also been seen nationally on ESPN2, Fox Sports, TLC,; “The Daily Buzz”, “BetterTV”, and “Daytime”.
His story of determination to succeed in comedy led him to be featured in the motivational best seller “Winning Nice”.
