Willie C Brown

Evangelist and Pastor Willie Clyde Hawkins Brown is another one of God’s truly anointed and great traditional gospel artist and preacher of our time. She is a powerful voice to the Kingdom of God. It is evident that God is using her ministry in this millennium. Lives are being empowered by the cutting edge to the gospel message she delivers in her presentation. She is known to be a straight forward preacher and won’t hold back whatever God releases in her to say. In many services the Holy Ghost uses her even mightier in her music ministry. God has especially anointed her in so many travels with her music ministry, speaking engagements, and revivals. She is a much sought after speaker and psalmist in various cities and states. She has participated on the city, state, and national levels with choirs and churches. She is a strong advocate of education.

In 2014 Evangelist Brown relocated to San Antonio, Texas and became a part of Faith Worship Center, which is now The Oasis @ Faith Worship Center, San Antonio, where Bishop Derrick and Pastor Kwajalein Thomas are pastors. Presently, she serves as principal of the Kingdom Builders Child Care & Christian Academy in San Antonio, Texas. Evangelist W. C. Brown is a woman of prayer and lives a holy consecrated life unto God. She is fulfilling the clarion call of God on her life to be fresh and anointed in this day and hour. It gives me the great pleasure to induct this woman of God into the Family of Gospel Artists where she belongs.

I give all praise, honor, and glory to God who is first in my life, for without Him I can do nothing. I would have not come this far by faith had He not been on my side. I dedicate this first CD in honor and memory of my mother who taught me how to pray, Lula Bell Hawkins who is with the Lord and my father, Cliff Hawkins, who is also with the Lord. Also, much honor is due to my children Debra (Marcus) Lewis, Coretta (Tony) Jones, Kwajalein (Derrick) Thomas who were loving, kind, patient, and they allowed me to share my gift of music to minister to others through out the years. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, my sisters Renita Ousley, and Emma Freeman, and brother Ralph Hawkins, deceased siblings (Jessie H. White and Eddie Hawkins), and many nieces and nephews. I give praises to God for one of my childhood friends Dr. Anita Williams-Brown, who was instrumental in causing me to be interested in taking music lessons. To Reverend Bernice Clausell who taught me to sing my first song at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Albany, GA. My special thanks go to my church family New Jerusalem Faith COGIC and Pastor, Superintendent Jerry Cochran and First Lady Geraldine Cochran for their prayers and spiritual guidance. My appreciation goes to the saints in Dougherty County, all surrounding counties and to everyone who is praying and will be praying for this music ministry to touch, save, heal, and deliver the lives of many who will be reached by listening to it. May God bless you all.
