Adrian Sicam

Adrian Sicam is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and teacher hailing from Newburgh NY. Born into a musical family, Adrian was raised in Syracuse NY where he attended Syracuse University, eventually earning his BFA in musical theatre. While at SU, in addition to performing in a variety of theatrical productions, Adrian was a member of the vocal jazz ensemble Windjammer. Upon graduation, Adrian recorded and released his first independent CD of original songs and arrangements entitled "Inspired". Larry Hoyt of The Syracuse New Times called the disc "an impressive debut from this multi-talented singer-songwriter."

After a successful year-long stint working as an actor and music director with the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn NY, Adrian moved to Somerville MA where he served as a vocalist and keyboardist for the hip spoken word & funk rock ensemble, Neon Grandma. His song "Funky Lover", featured on Neon Grandma's CD "The Urban Goddess", was popular with club-goers. In addition, Adrian also began working the private party circuit of New England, singing everything from Sinatra to Gnarls Barkley at dozens of corporate functions, weddings and bar mitzvahs.

After releasing his second independent solo CD "Hey, Stranger" in 2001, Adrian moved to New York City where he taught private voice and piano and was active as a songwriter and vocalist on several recording sessions. In the spring of 2005, Adrian and his family moved to Newburgh. He continues to teach and perform throughout New England and New York.
