The Bone Tones

The Bone Tones were formed in 1987 in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area. They played throughout the Midwest until about 2001, introducing Cajun music to a generation of enthusiasts at dance halls, festivals, and taverns throughout the Midwest and beyond. They were credited with being one of the first bands outside Louisiana to play top-notch, world-class Cajun music. Two-time winners (1996 and 2000) of the Cajun French Music Association’s “Prix Dehors de Nous” for the best recording of Cajun music by a band from outside Louisiana, their recordings can still be heard on Louisiana radio stations to this day.
