Daniel Kleefeld

Daniel’s musical career began in a hotel lobby in Tulsa, OK. “I had this huge desire inside me to play for anyone who would listen. I didn’t have my own piano yet, so I would be drawn to pianos all over town, and ask if I could play. One of those places was the lobby of the Double Tree Hotel. When I begin to play the piano, something magical happens. When the manager of the Warren Duck Club heard me playing, he arranged for me to play at his restaurant. It was a privilege to play there for 9 years.”

While performing at the Warren Duck Club, Daniel also landed jobs at other restaurants, like the Bravo, Polo Grill, and the Tiffany Rose. Weddings, private parties, and church concerts also became common events. Opportunities opened up for him to tour Germany, England, Wales, Austria, and Switzerland along with other parts of the United States. He has also appeared on several television and radio shows.

A collection of his own piano solo compositions, “Quiet Resting Places”, was released in 1996. “This CD has brought relaxation to so many people,” Daniel shares when asked about his CD. “They listen after a stressful day at work, or play it to bring peace into their home. Others are inspired to write books or study while listening. We have sold over 20,000 CDs since they’ve been released.”

Completed in 2000, the “Sail Into the Wind” CD, adds some classical and jazz pieces to more of Daniel’s own compositions. Two years later, the “I Saw Three Ships” Christmas CD was produced, and has become a favorite.

A highlight of Daniel’s career came in 2005, with the filming of a live concert at TV47. Jeffrey Frink(guitar), Erik Sampson(flute), Laurie Pottorf(violin), David Sheridan(percussion), Courtney Kleefeld(dance), and Sarah Rhom(vocal), join Daniel to perform new arrangements of many favorite compositions from his CD’s. The CD “Daniel Keefeld & Friends In Concert” includes a free DVD of the concert.
