James Wild

James loves to compose moving, emotive music - both peaceful and uplifting. He creates flowing, atmospheric soundscapes with pads, strings and voice; occasionally including melodies, drums and mysterious sounds. "Chill Out, New Age and Electronica" are the best labels for his compositions. Like these genres? James' music will transport you beyond the everyday world, into a wonderful space of relaxation and inspiration.

James has been travelling about this wonderful planet for many years, exploring, greeting and revelling. He has produced an extensive range of recordings (over 50 albums) on music, meditation, relaxation and various topics of discussion.

After graduating in Botany/Ecology from Melbourne University, James went on to produce music and begin writing. He takes a keen interest in nature, music, metaphysical philosophy and Futurama.

James lives in a forest, on a ridge, near a small village, not far from a large city, in Australia, on Gaia, in our Solar System, on the Orion Arm of the Milky Way about 26,000 light years from galactic centre, in the Local Group of galaxies drifting somewhere in this extraordinary universe.

James says, “With my music and writing I endeavour to inspire people and help them connect to the greater good of humanity".
