Jordan Reyne

Best known as the vocalist for the Resident Evil 7 theme song "Go Tell Aunt Rhody," Jordan has been hailed by Radio New Zealand as the author of a new sound for her own long list of releases. Reyne's own music is a genre bending soundscape of folk rock and factory sounds, acoustic loops and eerie, often bloodthirsty celtic vocals. Her lyrics read like a modern version of Grims fairytales.

"It is hard to categorise music this original - PJ Harey springs to mind, but the style is 100% Jordans... Her vocals are astounding." The Mix (UK)

"[A] remarkable talent.. in a category all of her own. She's a force of nature" Prog Magazine (UK)

Along with 3 nominations for a Tui award (New Zealand's Grammy equivalent), Jordan has lent her voice to projects like Cafe Del Mar, a funeral scene on Lord of the Rings, guest vocal appearances with The Strawpoeple, Breaks Co-op, and the Eden House (where she is now a permanent member). Jordan has and toured the UK, Poland, Germany and New Zealand including shows at Glastonbury (UK), Wave Gothic Treffen (Germany), Whitby Gothic Weekend (UK) The New Zealand International Festival of the Arts (NZ), The Big Day Out (NZ / Aus), Frankfurt Music Messe (Germany), Soundedit (Poland) and supports for bands as diverse as Feilds of the Nephilim, White Zombie and the Eden House.

Jordan has released 7 studio albums to date, and four of these are available on CD Baby. Her earlier releases are available digitally via bandcamp at http://jordanreyne.bandcamp.com
