Before his success, In 1993 Openning for an Mc Eiht Concert K-J was approached by Carmelita Sanchez of Delicious Vinyl Records with a solo album in mind. He refused with loyalty to his group Kingpins Only. After his leap into the game and a bad record deal with A.W.O.L Records, In 1998 he was also introduce to the late great Mac Dre by his Uncle Virgil Fairly the author of the book's, "Iceman! Reap What You Sow" & "Mackman! Forced Into The Game" but unfortunately, they lost touch.

In his pursuit to re-enter the rap game Big K-J released his first solo album titled, "Game Bangin" on 9/6/2010 (his birthday) under GameFace Muzic/Full Kontak Production! Any true undergorund Hip-Hop fan knows that this is a must have album!

Linking up with the U.K.'s finest, Lord Late, he featured on the "Global Status Mixtapes" Volumes 5,6 & 7.
