Liz Madden

“If a harp had a voice, it would sound like Liz Madden. With a sound that flows through the air like rose petals through a wind chime, the Irish-born singer has recently made her way to the United States to grace us with her talent….With a voice that soothes and lyrics that run deep, Liz Madden is one singer whose work you do not want to pass up”
Gregg Senko of Why So Blu?

“Each step of Madden’s album is artistically perfect, starting from her voice, liquid and velvety, in the same breath, moderate and agreeable enough to define it: ”The perfect standard of a classical voice”. In some pieces her tone is close to sacred legends already known in planetary folk, such as Joan Baez and Mary Black, although it seems inaccurate to say this, because we realize soon that what you are listening to definitely belongs to Liz Madden’s superb voice.”
Davide Frascella, Italian Journalist & Radio Presenter

“If anything sets Liz Madden apart from other Celtic/Folk singers, it’s her authentic and amazing voice. Never before has so much passion, energy and emotion poured out of a singer in every song. What the album offers is a tapestry of her musical talents, woven with rich Irish musical tradition, heritage, and her incredible music and lyrics. Her songwriting skills will astound you.”
Karen J. Brady, Celtic MP3’s Magazine

“Four languages are tackled on this album (English, Latin, French and Gaeilge) and her versatility is amazing. Not many people can boast such a linguistic range, but it comes as effortlessly as breathing to Liz. If this is your first time hearing about Liz Madden, there is really no better introduction to her gorgeous, velvety voice than ‘My Irish Home’.”
Chrissy Connor, Read all over Reviews

“My personal favorites are her renditions of ‘Galway Shawl’ and ‘She Moved Through the Fair’…her vocal quality is second to none…. For this writer, it takes me back to my travels through County Wicklow and its lush, rolling hills and quaint towns along the way. If there was ever an accurate, audible portrayal of Ireland with a little more to offer, here it is.”
Gregg Senko of Why So Blu?

“She sings Folksongs and own compositions with her wonderful “Miraculously beautiful” voice. Folk classics like “The Galway Shawl”, “Danny Boy” or “Green sleeves” become stripped down, polished and are painted with a new varnish.”
