Inspired by myth and folklore, Magicfolk’s songs yet always find relevance in the modern and personal, weaving threads of ancient symbolism into songs edged with current and innovative musical flavours.

The song-writing duo Michelle Glover (vocals, flute, guitar) and Ben Glover (bass, EWI) founded Magicfolk in 2003. Drummer Geoff Charlton was one of the earliest members, and completing the present line-up are Chris Scupham (keys), and Colin Mold (violin, guitar).
