Marc Coderre

Marc P Coderre is a singer, songwriter and independent recording artist from Ottawa Ontario.

Marc's musical journey follows two parallel tracks: since March 1989 he's been involved with St Joseph's choir and also since July of that year he has composed and recorded his own secular music at home as a hobby.

His first work in a real studio came in 2001 when he was invited to be a vocalist on Karen Lahaise's debut CD "Songs for the Soul". That CD was recorded at SATB Studio, run by Armando Prini.

The experience inspired Marc to work on his own project. The first Illumination was released in November 2007. This was followed by Inspiration in February 2011. Marc's wife died in April 2010 and this influenced the direction of his third album, Rise Again, which came out in April 2015.

Marc's studio work is the intersecting of his liturgical singing background and his song writing/recording hobby and thus his CDs all feature a mix of original compositions along with liturgical favourites.

Marc has many videos on YouTube. His inspirational music is tagged under his own name and his home-made hobby music uses his alias Warhorse.
