Mickey Wilson

Mickey (Michael) Wilson was born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He has been playing guitar since age 13 and composing since age 25. He has a sister Mindy Wilson and is a son to Larry Wilson and Stephanie Wilson. He is an up-and-coming film music composer, mastering engineer, audio engineer, guitarist, and producer. Mickey is best known for his film score for "Drinking Games" as well as his guitar work in previous bands (Arcane Framework, Depth of All Things). He has been working with director Hayward Winston Suggs (Drinking Games) for multiple upcoming projects. Originally born in Chicago, IL, where he resided until 7 years old, Mickey and his family moved to the suburbs of Chicago where he would spend most of his adolescent life. At 25 years old, he moved to Southern California for a year and later moved back to Illinois. He was discovered by producer Zach Liberman (Drinking Games) after leaving California from working on soundtracks for multiple video game projects in which Zach happened to run into Mickey selling his album "Press Start" at Emporium Arcades in Lake County, IL. Zach Liberman referred Mickey Wilson to Hayward Winston Suggs initially for the spot of film music composer for "Drinking Games" and then decided to take on bigger roles for the movie as they became needed, resulting in his first three IMDb credits: Composer, Executive Producer, and Sound Mixer. On April 30th 2017, Mickey decided to settle down in Dallas, Texas with his fiancee Elina Morano. Mickey Wilson has become an approved Apple Mastered for iTunes audio engineer- an accomplishment that allows him to put his stamp of approval on music being submitted into the Apple MFiT section of the Apple iTunes store for either his own projects or for audio mastering clients.
